This model of the Wells Fargo Building, located in downtown Jacksonville, I constructed independently but entered in the 16th annual Gingerbread Extravaganza under the Women in Architecture and Engineering Club at Bartram Trail High School. This replica was designed to be completely edible and took up to about 6 days to research, bake, construct/ measure, and solidify. The model was then taken downtown to be decorated by the club. In competition with 56 other participants, the replica won "Best Engineering". I was then interviewed by The Florida NewsLine newspaper (image 4) on the process of construction.

This model was created from a concept design project in which I was assigned a well-known structure and tasked with creating an interpretive model inspired by the assigned structure. I was assigned with the Sydney Opera House in Australia to which I interpreted the movement of the Opera House into a structure that resembles rippling waves.

This model was planned in SketchUp and assembled with Balsa Wood studs. Given the road design requirements from the research phase, the wall studs are 16" on center in between each other and 24" for the roof studs. This model demonstrates the basic construction skeleton of a common wood studded building. This model was displayed at Earth Day showcase in St Johns, FL.

This model was built in a collaborative project in which my partner and I were instructed to design two businesses on the first floor and living space on the second floor. The business aspect contains a bar and a restaurant called Ye Ole Seafood Saloon N' Grill. This model portrays a cut section that shows both the interior and exterior of the building.
